After years away from active deck creation, Ciro Marchetti was drawn back by the Tarot de Marseille, and the Tarot Decoratif is the result of that renewed engagement. The Major Arcana pay tribute to Marseille ideals, while the pip cards are designed for numerological reading but layered with Rider-Waite-Smith imagery for those who prefer that approach. Everything is wrapped in Marchetti distinctive modern magic-realist style with Art Deco coloring that evokes illuminated stained glass. The set includes a companion book explaining his personal perspectives on each card.
About the Creator
Ciro Marchetti is an award-winning artist originally from the United Kingdom who studied art in London and went on to build a career across Europe and South America before settling in the United States. He opened a design agency in Miami and has taught digital illustration and imagery at the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute. He continues to produce visionary art alongside his commercial work.
