Ciro Marchetti built this 52-card oracle around archetypes drawn not from a single mythology but from the wider world of human performance and spectacle, including theater, carnival, and the stage. The lush Victorian-influenced imagery invites readers to look at their questions from an unfamiliar angle, setting aside fixed interpretations in favor of fresh observation. Each card prompts a genuine encounter with the figure depicted rather than simply prompting recall of a memorized meaning. The 140-page illustrated guidebook provides thorough card descriptions while leaving plenty of room for personal response.
About the Creator
Ciro Marchetti is an award-winning artist born in the United Kingdom who studied art in London before building a career across Europe and South America. He eventually settled in the United States and opened a design agency in Miami, where he also gives workshops and lectures on digital imagery and illustration at the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute.
