Nicoletta Ceccoli Tarot

Nicoletta Ceccoli Tarot

Nicoletta Ceccoli’s art occupies an unsettling and fascinating space where childhood innocence sits alongside something much stranger, and this tarot deck gives that quality a home in the Major and Minor Arcana. Her figures are doll-like and ethereal, often set in dreamscapes where whimsy and unease coexist without apology. The deck asks questions that do not have obvious answers, making it particularly rewarding for readers drawn to psychological depth and for collectors who appreciate artwork that refuses to be entirely comfortable.

About the Creator

Nicoletta Ceccoli was born in 1973 in San Marino, Italy, and studied animation at the Institute of Art in Urbino. While still a student, she was selected to exhibit at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, which launched her career as an illustrator for American and international publishers. Her fine art work explores emotionally complex territory, particularly the tensions between innocence and sexuality, beauty and darkness. She has described her goal as offering a balance of the repulsive and the attractive, using the doll as a recurring symbol of beauty and helplessness existing side by side.
