The Hush Tarot by Jeremy Hush is steeped in the visual tradition of Victorian botanical illustration and the work of Golden Age illustrators like Arthur Rackham and Edmund Dulac. The imagery places nature at the center of every card, showing the full cycle of growth and decay with a raw, immediate quality that feels different from most tarot decks on the market. This is a deck for readers familiar with the Rider-Waite classification who are ready to encounter those themes through a darker, more elemental lens, as well as for anyone drawn to intuitive reading rich in natural symbolism.
Jeremy Hush began his creative career in the underground world of punk and metal bands, designing album covers and booking bands while traveling internationally. He is now a designer, painter, and woodworker who specializes in Gilded Age techniques. He lives and works in Philadelphia, where he is the curator and renovator of the Convent Gallery and maintains a studio for his own painting practice. His work has been exhibited internationally.
