Part of "The Arcana" series from Maestro Osvaldo Menegazzi, the 22 Coralli in 22 Arcani is a set of 22 watercolor paintings that draw unexpected connections between the 22 Major Arcana and the natural world beneath the sea. Each image is a playful improvisation, showing how archetypal forces are woven into the fabric of nature itself. The cards have Italian titles, square corners, and a natural matte finish. This edition was published in 2019 in a limited printing of 250 numbered decks, with the edition number revealed upon opening.
Osvaldo Menegazzi holds a singular place in Italian art and card history. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Brera, he channeled his twin passions for fine art and antique cards into founding Il Meneghello in 1974. The publishing house went on to become one of the world's most respected producers of historically significant and artistically inventive card decks, with its work collected by museums and private collectors across the globe.
