The Gentle Tarot in a Tin - Luxe edition with 24" Reading Cloth
The Gentle Tarot is a love letter to the natural world, shaped by years of living in the remote landscapes of Alaska. This Luxe edition brings that same hand-drawn warmth in a compact format, housed in a beautifully made keepsake tin with a sliding top lid. The cards carry gilded edges to match the original First Edition, with gold stamping on the backs, and the set includes a 24-inch organic cotton reading cloth for a more intentional reading space.
The deck itself follows a loosely Rider-Waite-Smith inspired structure, though many illustrations grew entirely from creative and spiritual process rather than convention. Two suits carry new names, with Thunder standing in for Swords and Stones replacing Pentacles, and color-coded card rims make it easy to identify each element at a glance. Two versions of the Lovers card are included, offering a human and a non-human option. A PDF guide is provided in place of a printed booklet.
About the Creator
Mari Mariza is an indigenous artist whose work draws from the environment around her and centers themes of mental health, self-love, and care for the planet. She creates from the belief that tending to ourselves and to the earth are part of the same practice.
