Tarot of the Sidhe
The Tarot of the Sidhe is rooted in the Celtic Otherworld and the tradition of the Sidhe, the fairy beings of Irish and Scottish mythology. Emily Carding's imagery is primal rather than decorative, bright with color but charged with something older and less comfortable than typical fairy-themed decks. The figures in the cards feel like they carry genuine weight from an otherworldly tradition, not like illustrations of it.
The deck diverges from the Rider-Waite-Smith tradition but includes oracle messages on each card that make the readings accessible to beginners and advanced readers alike. The cards are generously sized at 3.5 by 5 inches, printed on thick laminated card stock, and come with a 96-page book and a keepsake box.
About the Creator
Emily Carding is a self-taught artist, author, Priestess, lyricist, actor, and singer. Her creative and spiritual practice draws on the mythology of multiple cultures and on her direct experience of the Otherworld through magical and devotional work.
