This is a rare Bolognese-style deck from around 1750, notable for substituting the High Priestess, Empress, Emperor, and Hierophant with illustrations of four Moors, a distinctive regional variation not found in most tarot traditions. Like other Tarocchini from Bologna, the deck contains 62 cards rather than the standard 78. Part of Lo Scarabeo's Anima Antiqua series, this limited edition of 2,999 copies has been reproduced from originals in important tarot collections.
