Aqua Summersus - The Underwater Tarot Card Deck
The Aqua Summersus is a 79-card tarot deck created entirely from underwater photography. Fine art portrait photographer Cheryl Walsh oversaw twenty separate photoshoots with twelve models, then selected the best images to form this striking and unusual deck. The Major Arcana are each conceived as a step toward living with greater authenticity and positive impact. The high-quality card stock and the limited, numbered edition format make this a standout object as well as a working divination tool.
About the Creator
Cheryl Walsh is a fine art portrait photographer based in Orange County, California, with a specialty in underwater work. Her studio photography has won international awards and is often described as painterly despite being entirely photographic. The Aqua Summersus Tarot represents her most ambitious project to date, bringing together dozens of underwater sessions and multiple collaborators into a single cohesive deck.
