Medieval Mischief Tarot and Guidebook

Medieval Mischief Tarot and Guidebook

What makes this deck surprising is how much symbolic weight it carries beneath its lighthearted exterior. Knights, damsels, and mischievous demons fill the cards in a style clearly delighted by the quirks and strangeness of medieval art, but woven through the whimsy are genuine astrological, planetary, and elemental references that give readings real depth. The small size and excellent card stock make the deck comfortable and satisfying to work with. The set includes a 58-page guidebook with detailed Major Arcana commentary, keywords for the pip cards, and an extra identification card for the symbols used throughout the deck.

About the Creator

Riccardo Gil Ferraro studied painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and has since developed a practice that ranges from painting and illustration to music, fantastic storytelling, and personalized tattoo work. He lives and works in Pavia, and his path of inner research has led him from an early fascination with Surrealism toward a deep engagement with medieval art and the ancient peoples of the earth.
