Drawing on 17th and 18th century Indian erotic art and the ancient Kama Sutra texts, this deck presents very explicit imagery of couples in various intimate encounters. The artwork follows the frank, unadorned style of the classical tradition it references, and the card meanings align with Rider-Waite-Smith interpretations. The four suits are associated with desire and creation (Wands), passive aspects of sensuality (Cups), the more assertive dimensions of intimacy (Swords), and the grounding energy of earth (Coins).
