Jacques Vieville Tarot Deck

The Jacques Vieville Tarot de Marseille dates to 1650 and was originally produced in Paris. The only surviving copy is held in the National Library of France, which served as the basis for this restoration by Artisan Tarot. The team studied each image carefully, researching the historical context and clarifying areas of the artwork that had deteriorated or become unclear over the centuries. A consistent color palette was applied throughout, misaligned coloring corrected, and details sharpened without compromising the character of the original. Printed in the US on 310 GSM linen-finish card stock, the finished deck is crisp, solid, and a pleasure to handle.
