Ethereal Visions: Illuminated Tarot Deck - Luna Edition
The Luna Edition is a follow-up to the original Ethereal Visions Tarot, with revised artwork that reflects greater diversity across the 80 cards. The gold foil stamping of the original has been replaced with iridescent silver foil, giving the deck a cooler, more lunar quality. Matt Hughes' hand-drawn, hand-colored illustrations continue to blend Art Nouveau, Pre-Raphaelite, and Symbolist influences, and this edition comes with a substantially expanded 140-page full-color guidebook compared to the smaller booklet in the original release.
About the Creator
Matt Hughes is a writer, artist, and designer whose work has been exhibited in galleries internationally and featured in a wide range of publications including Art Scene International, Dark Realms Magazine, Realms of Fantasy, Heavy Metal, and Wizard Magazine. His illustrations have appeared in collaborative books such as Spectrum and Masters of Fantasy. In 2004 his illustration Boudicca was used on greeting cards given to the Lord of the Rings cast at an after-Oscar party, and that same year he received a Gallery Winner honor from the Society of Illustrators LA competition. In 2007 he won Best in Show at DragonCon and served as Art Show Judge the following year.
