The Egyptian Tarot brings together the visual splendor of ancient Egyptian art with a divinatory framework connected to the legendary Book of Thoth. Artist Silvana Alasia painted each card in tempera on papyrus, resulting in images that feel genuinely rooted in antiquity. The interpretive approach draws on the ideas of Jean-Baptiste Pitois, who linked tarot to Egyptian esoteric tradition, and the symbols woven into each card carry the weight of that ancient and exotic aesthetic.
