The Dark Days Tarot was designed for the introspective time of the dark moon — those final days of the lunar cycle when the light pulls back and the inner world expands. The deck is square rather than rectangular, and that four-sided shape is intentional: it holds the four seasons, four elements, four directions, and four lunar phases all within the same visual container. Working with these cards is an invitation to be still, to go inward, and to pay attention to what shadow and depth have to offer. This edition has silver-gilded edges.
Wren McMurdo Brignac is a digital illustrator, painter, and designer based in the Pacific Northwest. The Dark Days Tarot grew from her attunement to the lunar cycle, femininity, and the depths that open up in times of stillness. In 2021 she released Mother Tarot, a second deck exploring themes of Earth, birth, and creativity, developed over three years alongside her and her partner's exploration of parenthood.
