The Curious Travels Tarot is a warm and story-driven deck illustrated in watercolor, in which animal characters — including a philosophical owl Hierophant and elephant lovers — carry the emotional weight of each card's traditional meaning. The imagery balances joy and mystery with touches of genuine heartache, creating a reading experience that feels personal and narrative. The deck includes 79 gold-foiled cards (one extra) and an 84-page illustrated guidebook.
About the Creator
Amelia Rozear is an illustrator from Connecticut who grew up drawn to creative and mystical things. She discovered tarot through Pamela Colman Smith's artwork for the Rider-Waite deck, and during the lockdown of 2020 decided to create her own version. She lives in Providence, Rhode Island with two rabbits named Soup and Meatball.
